Season Information


A Sneak Peak of what to expect this season.

 

The START of the SEASON will depend on the weather. League play could begin as early as April 28th.

Keep in mind, this schedule could be modified, we’ll know more as the season draws near.

Monday & Wednesday: Learn to Play & U15

Tuesday & Thursday: U11, U13, U17

U19 - TBD!

    • South East Girls Softball League Year End Jamboree: Date & location: TBD. (usually the last weekend in June)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

EQUIPMENT

Required items include a glove, athletic wear, and runners. It is recommended that all players wear black baseball pants, while a bat and batting helmet (with cage) are recommended but not required. U13+ will require cleats and an infield mask. Uniform details will be provided by your team coach.

 

JERSEY DEPOSIT

The jersey deposit helps the organization ensure the jersey is properly taken care of over the season and returned in good condition. At the end of the season, once all jerseys have been returned, $30.00 can either be returned the player OR added to the player profile as a credit for next season. The remaining $20.00 will go into a jersey fund to assist with either purchasing new or repairing jerseys as needed.

Note: If the volunteer requirement is not fulfilled, the SGSA may choose to retain this deposit.

 

VOLUNTEERING REQUIREMENT

For the season to run smoothly, we NEED VOLUNTEERSEach team REQUIRES a Head CoachAssistant CoachTeam Manager, and the club requires volunteers to help during BOTH tournaments.

In the case where volunteering is not possibleduring initial registration, you may opt-out by paying a fee. Otherwise, please indicate your volunteering preferences during registration and we will be in contact with you as appropriate.

If you’d like to complete a Criminal Record Check, or have any other questions, please email the SGSA Executive.

At the end of the season, if you did not volunteer and had not opted out, the SGSA will determine whether or not to retain the refund for your jersey deposit.

Keep in mind, volunteering is a requirement, let’s work together to make this a great season for the kids!

 

REGISTRATION REFUND POLICY

Should you require to withdraw your athlete from the season, please keep in mind, we will NOT issue a refund after March 31, 2025.

 

We appreciate your cooperation, participation and understanding and we cannot wait to start the season!
